All In by Russell Isler is an action-packed story that grips you from page one. The story follows vampire playboy Eddy Fry as he lives his life on the Las Vegas strip. Not only has he been living the good life but he thinks he is the only one of his kind. That is until he meets Rebecca Weir, a vampire of note, and she wants Vegas. She doesn't mind playing dirty either, using mind control and muscle to get the job done. Eddy is running out of options but fate has dealt him a fighting hand in the form of Xenia, a young girl with supernatural powers and a few allies from the supernatural 'underground' community. Will Eddy have the power to fight or is this a losing battle? This is a book you don't want to miss out on.

All In: The Clandestine Book 1 by Russell Isler is one of the best books I have ever read. It's full of action, the supernatural, conflict, and personal growth. Masterfully written, it has the makings of a movie or TV series. I loved how the author switched from past to present, seeing Eddy's life in a more complete picture. The underground characters were amazing. A talking skeleton and a shark man to name but two. If you can think it, Russell has included it here. Rebecca was the perfect villain. Eddy was not the favorite to win but this fighter won't hand over his pride and joy just like that. The Golden Fortune is his home. The characters are imaginative and colorful and the dual timelines gave extra dimension. I definitely recommend this book.
