Alluring by Sarah Curtis is a contemporary romance about an ordinary girl whose life changes when she meets a wealthy and powerful guy. Alexis works hard to pay her mother's medical debts and put her sister through college. Her life may be categorized as boring by some, but she doesn't have the time or the energy to pursue a man. Until she meets Jack. Jack is gorgeous, wealthy, experienced, and every woman's dream. Alexis should be flattered by his attention. But she doesn't want to be another notch on his belt so, for the first time, Jack actually has to pursue a woman. He's a little rusty, since it has been so long, but Jack is used to getting what he wants. And what he wants is Alexis. But Alexis might not be the only person interested in Jack, and with Jack's attention fully on Alexis, that makes it hard for any competition. So if anyone else wants a chance with Jack...they have to make sure Alexis is out of the way first.

This is a very nice romance that gives romance readers exactly what they want. A smart, hard working heroine, a hunky, wealthy hero, and conflict between the two. I love a man who pursues a woman and just won't give up. I think a lot of women want to be pursued so this kind of story will definitely make them happy. It was nice to see Jack work so hard to be with Alexis.
