Troy Decker is unlike any other teenager. He is a son of two angels who were quite popular back in their days. However, life still holds some frustrations for him as he struggles to become the angel he wants to be. Furthermore, he has no one to share his secret world with as his best friends are human and are not allowed to know. All the while this is happening, strange occurrences have started to unfold and are already catching the attention of all the angels in the vicinity. After a series of unfortunate events, things start to change in Troy's life. For once, things are starting to change for good. It doesn't last very long though when events start to unravel and the greatest revelation is yet to be revealed.
I am head over heels in love with this book. The moment I started reading it, I got hooked. I sat there and tried to take it all in. The story is a breath of fresh air. It has taken a different perspective of how angels become who they are. It is written superbly. There is not a dull moment and at every event, there is a surprise or a twist waiting. Not one event overshadows another. Everything that happens works in harmony and creates an effective story. And the characters are very likable, the true stars of the story. All in all, "Angel without Wings" is very exhilarating. Now I'm just waiting for the second installment. I believe "Angel without Wings" would go far.
