Appropriate Apothejims: A Collection for Life by James L. Greenstone and David C. Greenstone contains sayings, quotes, and ideas drawn from everyday life to be used in everyday life. From the silliest to the sublime, this compilation can boast of at least a few of every genre. As the saying goes, ‘The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time,’ the best part of this collection is that most of these are short and sweet, easy to remember. There is no need for the authors to be apologetic about the lightheartedness behind the selection, since the appeal of these literary gems only gets amplified by its simplicity, as can be seen in a couple of them chosen at random. “What is a clue, except a mistake by another name?” or “Everyone has a photographic memory; some just don’t have film” or “All those who believe in psychokinesis, raise my hand.”

Appropriate Apothejims: A Collection for Life by James L. Greenstone and David C. Greenstone is grouped for various occasions, enabling one to select the most appropriate one. This certainly makes the book a handy reference for daily living, as well as useful before any special assignment. This book is a worthy guide for anyone disposed to making a mark in whatever they do, be it adept handling of everyday meetings or other discussions. As the authors say at the end of the book, I am sure the reader will find his way.
