Celia the Cow by Lynn Domenick McKenzie is Another Tale with Doug and Gina from the Little Brown House on the Hill, the second book in the series. Doug and Gina are off outside to play and while they are having adventures in their yard at the top of the hill, they hear a noise. It sounds like bellowing and it's coming from the marsh next door so the two children follow the sound to see what it is. When they find a cow trapped in the mud and realize she is going to give birth, they rush off to get help. Join Doug and Gina on their latest adventure and see how they help Celia escape in time.

Celia the Cow: Another Tale With Doug and Gina from the Little Brown House on the Hill by Lynn Domenick McKenzie is a short story with lots of adventure and action in it. You can't help but be drawn into this neat and fun story. The two main characters are developed well and the story runs at a steady pace. It’s a fun tale but it has a serious message, one that says you should always find help when someone needs it. This is well written and aimed perfectly at its target audience, and all kids, plus adults, will love this story. I haven’t read the first book in the series but I don’t feel that I missed out on anything. However, for children, reading them in order will give a much better sense of adventure.
