Celia the Cow: Another Tale With Doug and Gina from the Little Brown House on the Hill by Lynn Domenick McKenzie is a short story with lots of adventure and action in it. You can't help but be drawn into this neat and fun story. The two main characters are developed well and the story runs at a steady pace. It’s a fun tale but it has a serious message, one that says you should always find help when someone needs it. This is well written and aimed perfectly at its target audience, and all kids, plus adults, will love this story. I haven’t read the first book in the series but I don’t feel that I missed out on anything. However, for children, reading them in order will give a much better sense of adventure.
