Following the Way of Wisdom Jesus by Josh R. Ritter and Sharyl West Loeung is a twelve-week Bible study guide that gives a new perspective on Jesus’ wisdom. The authors open our minds to a new way of understanding prayer, meditation, and the Christian journey. Christianity is not about being right or wrong or them against us. Instead, it is a continuous experience filled with profound spiritual moments. The guide will help you unlearn the misleading and limiting assumptions about God and the Christian faith and teach you a new communication model. This model will help you form a bond with God through love and compassion for your fellow man. The lessons will turn you from a person who seeks to blame or judge others into a meek and understanding person. Instead of wanting to know everything or be in control, you will enjoy the experience and mystery of being in Jesus.

Following the Way of Wisdom Jesus is a groundbreaking book that will restructure how you view religion, spirituality, and God. We live in a merit-based and dualistic world that divides us and makes us greedy, but Josh R. Ritter and Sharyl West Loeung present a loving and unifying message about the Christian faith. The Christian journey is not linear; everyone has their own way of interpreting the scriptures. The authors best explain this message with a video game analog, where level one completely differs from level two. People get stuck on the same level because they do not want to open up to the idea that there are many versions of Christianity or that we all connect with God differently. With love and understanding, we will not be judgmental or try to convert others to what we think is right or our view of God. The book has a consistent format and engages readers with exercises and questions at the end of every chapter. I loved reading this book and hope to enjoy more work from these amazing authors.
