Ghostwriter is a work of fiction in the psychological thriller and paranormal mystery subgenres. It is intended for the mature end of the young adult reading audience and was penned by the mysterious and enigmatic World Codex Staff and author Meredith Carson. Narrating the unique and bizarre experiences inspired by a harrowing photograph, Meredith delivers a thrilling ride of psychological horrors, UFOs, and inexplicable phenomena. The experiences of Jack Wagoner are transcribed into a thrilling and concise plot that takes readers from a journey of unexplained mysteries into a world where the truth is inescapable, yet also impossible to believe.

The intriguing work of the World Codex Staff and author Meredith Carson delivers a fascinating quick read that is easily devoured in one sitting but will also leave images and questions in the reader’s mind for a long time after they put this book down. Mature teens and adult readers alike will enjoy the suspense and thrills which the narrative skill offers. Such is the direct mode of reporting, frank and chilling in its raw honesty, that it feels like you’re reading the book version of a Blair Witch-style account. Couple this with the incredible cinematic quality of the descriptive work on the intrusions and discoveries that follow later on, and you have all the makings of a chilling horror novel and a paranormal action blockbuster all rolled into one. I would not hesitate to recommend Ghostwriter to fans of paranormal mysteries and psychological horror that packs a punch.

Jack Wagoner asked Meredith Carson to record his story in Ghostwriter. Meredith was intrigued by a photograph of unidentified aerial phenomena, and she agreed. This is a psychological thriller that reveals the terrible secrets of the Klamath Mountain Mystery. In his childhood, Jack's father took him hunting. During the hunt, they came across Bigfoot. When they returned, Jack’s father kept quiet about it while Jack told everyone what he had seen. Jack and his two friends, Mike and Billy, went to Klamath Mountain to find proof that Bigfoot exists. Billy and Mike were armed with a camera, a first aid kit, and technology. Jack wore a Panic Activated Locator (PAL) around his neck all the time. This device led the authorities to find him, and it saved his life. Jack was the only survivor. Mike was murdered and Billy was never found.

Ghostwriter gave me chills and made my hair stand on end. Meredith Carson sat face to face with Jack Wagoner when they discussed his unbelievable and tragic experiences. This story is both complicated and terrifying. The photograph that intrigued and inspired Meredith remains unexplained. She has a unique approach when exploring the inexplicable. She has the gift of making you see and experience the events and making them credible. Jack Wagoner is the manifestation of pure evil. I cannot imagine what Meredith had to endure to continue to tell his story. After reading about the photograph, I braced myself for UFOs and abductions. There was so much more to this story than I anticipated. The events were horrific and with a major twist, it was more like a horror movie.

After World Codex stopped the publication of the bestseller The Shooting, it has now been re-released as Ghostwriter. Fascinated by Jack Wagoner's unbelievable story, World Codex Staff writer Meredith Carson agreed to ghostwrite his extraordinary tale. Little did she know that it would change her perception of reality as she knew it. The first half of the book is an in-depth retelling of Jack Wagoner's version of his story. It starts with Jack and his friends, Billy and Mike, traversing the Klamath Mountains of California in search of a particular Bigfoot named Sasquatch. Determined to prove Bigfoot's existence to the world, Jack and his friends unwittingly step into a horrible nightmare, which leaves one of them brutally murdered while another goes missing. Jack himself ends up in a wheelchair, but another version of the story is revealed after his rescue from the mountains.

Ghostwriter is a book soaked in mystery, horror, and suspense. The terrifying scenes involving Jack and his friends' foray into the ordeal they found in the Klamath Mountains will chill the bones of the most ardent horror reader. World Codex Staff and author Meredith Carson perfectly capture the dread-filled atmosphere and tension in the narrative, bringing a terror-driven ambiance to the pages that keeps you hooked until the end. Personally, the stories reminded me of the hit TV show, The X-Files. If you're a fan of UFO conspiracy theories or stories about true crime and serial killers, Ghostwriter is a book that will be right up your alley.

Three friends, Jack, Mike, and Billy, set out for the Klamath Mountains in a quest to prove the existence of creatures that many people insist are only myth and primitive folklore. But with every step they take into the unknown, something beyond mortals' comprehension stalks them, and it will stop at nothing to cause them terror and pain until their very last breath. Ghostwriter by Meredith Carson and World Codex Staff gives an account primarily based on the shocking firsthand account of events that transpired that fateful weekend as recalled by Jack Wagoner. It is also the only record of what happened to these three friends. But given that Wagoner is the only link to the Klamath Mountains mystery, could his astonishing tale be true? This book sheds light on this enigmatic puzzle.

Ghostwriter immerses you in the world of mystery in the most chilling yet fascinating way. Also, the fact that Wagoner's story is written from the first-person perspective ensures that you will have a front-row seat. You'll find yourself gasping as Mike, Billy, and Jack scramble to the canoe's rescue, all while trying not to get sucked under the fast-moving water and even praying that the growls that break the night's silence don't get too close to where they've camped for the night. While delving into the complexities of the Klamath Mountains mystery, this story also discusses the negative effects of a traumatic childhood and the disorders that can result. Over the years, I have read many thrillers, but never have I encountered one as rare and thought-provoking as this one. I also had the delightful opportunity to find answers to major historical mysteries, and I gathered a few survival tricks if I found myself lost in the wild. Meredith Carson and World Codex Staff did a commendable job in this novella, and I would love to read more from them.

Ghostwriter is a story by Meredith Carson and the World Codex Staff. The opening part of the book is her attempt to record the events Jack Wagoner related to her regarding his experience with Sasquatch when he took two of his friends to the mysterious Klamath Mountain. What happened to the men remained unresolved, and there were events relating to the experience that proved difficult for Wagoner to explain. Midway through the book, the perspective changes, moving from the description of the incident on Klamath Mountain to a much deeper story. A confession is made about certain events in the past, indicating that Jack Wagoner believed in reincarnation. The book begins with a foreword detailing a strange picture the writer found in a camera she discovered at the base of Mount Washington, and it ends with an unretouched photograph taken from the abandoned camera. The picture inspired Carson to work with Wagoner, and it is still unexplained.

Ghostwriter is a wild ride! Anyone who believes in unidentified flying objects, reincarnation, and Sasquatch will no longer feel alone as they turn the pages. The mystery is deep, and it spins like a swirling abyss that leads you further down the rabbit hole. Meredith Carson and the World Codex Staff know how to keep readers fully invested in their work, as they provide an almost unbelievable story and share an awe-inspiring photograph. Once you pick it up, there’s no way to put the book down - the story is engrossing. Readers should approach the book with an open mind, and they won’t be disappointed. This story delivers exactly what it promises.
