Homindroid: Marzian’s Martians by Robert A.G. Erickson is a science fiction story set in the not so distant future when human-like robots are in existence but not necessarily accepted by the masses. The story follows Cassel Marzian, the brilliant inventor of lifelike robots called Homindroids. His son, Casey Marzian, is also a focus of the story. He and his team come to the aid of the world leader and his family when they are attacked by the Terrorist Nation. With the help of a specialized team of friends and family, Casey and Cassel Marzian go head to head with the crazed leader of the Terrorist Nation and his army of super cyborgs called zombies.
Homindroid: Marzian’s Martians is a very creative story that studies the impact of humanoid robots on society in new ways that I found interesting. I have no idea how plausible the science in the story is, but Robert A.G. Erickson does a good job of making it all seem like it could really happen. The story's plot is complex, looking at the issue from several different perspectives. There are also some strong male characters in the book that are presented as very brave, smart, and even heroic at times. In general, I enjoyed reading Homindroid: Marzian’s Martians. Readers will find a very entertaining, fast-moving, science fiction thriller.
