How to Pray Through Depression & Loneliness! by M.J. Andre is an uplifting book that gives you positive thoughts while you are feeling low and depressed. There are many times when our minds are filled with negative thoughts and we find it difficult to get rid of them. Loneliness is an emotion that many of us experience. It is an emotion of hopelessness and this book guides us on how to accept our emotions and overcome them. The author quotes from the Bible on how devotion can help you overcome things.
I found the book uplifting. The author shows us that there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel if one chooses to pray to God. The book tells us to embrace God and pray to Him daily so that all the negative emotions within us will be released. Inner healing is very important when we go through a crisis and that can be done only through prayers and devotion. There is some stigma attached to mental illnesses in our society. The author gives quotes from the Bible that speak about these negative emotions and how you can follow the path of God where you will find solace and peace.
The book is insightful. It opens your mind to facts and details about devotion, and God and His grace that will help anyone overcome their problems.
