The characters are mostly preteens who highlight their intelligence as well as their propensity for making mischief with their interesting banter. Readers are bound to see some aspect of themselves in one of these characters or a combination. There's a recurring theme of unity and teamwork. Though these characters may not succeed on their own, when they come together, they are a powerful force and instrumental to the development and future of Homestar Echo 7. I also enjoyed the message about believing in the impossible. Ultimately, it's through envisioning themselves somewhere doing certain things that each character becomes stronger individually and as a unit, even when they are not in the pods. This sends a powerful message. Hulight Visions is a relaxing, easy-to-read book with positive messages for children.
