I Love The Way You Giggle by Jennifer Sharp is the adorable story of two friends who love each other so much that they love everything about each other. The little boy loves the way the girl giggles and the way her giggles grow; he loves the way she closes her eyes and blows bubbles; the way her whole body wiggles and jiggles when she does a hula hoop, and so on. The little girl loves the way the boy splashes at the beach; how his giggles give way to winks; the way he plays with Sebastian the cat and purrs like him, how he giggles through the fur, and so on.

It's a beautiful story of friendship and love, written in verse that puts a smile on the faces of all readers who have friends and find their company enjoyable. The illustrations are as adorable as the verses and give a good pace and movement to the concept and the author's words. It is a charming book for classroom read aloud sessions and will encourage children to appreciate their friends for their characteristics and love them for that. It can also be made interactive in classrooms where children can make a list of what they find appealing in their friends, like these two friends. This book is good for children to start observing their friends and finding out what makes their company and friendship enjoyable. The concept is simple yet relevant and the author's approach to the topic is unique and fresh and makes this a delightful read.
