With life's hustle and bustle, we all need an outlet to release and let go. In Ignite Wellness, Open to Joy: A Guide to Integrate More Health & Happiness into Your Daily Lifestyle by Heather Nadine Lenz, you will discover various aspects of tapping into yourself and nature, and how your surroundings can impact you. In Heather's book, she shows how using yoga, meditation, journaling and performing introspective exercises can help the reader in changing their outlook on life and its influences. There is something for everyone within these chapters, from loving, eating, exercising, parenting, caregiving, relaxing, sleeping and praying to creating Feng Shui in your home. It is important to understand that everything we do requires elements of balance. It's never a great idea to overdo things especially when feeling stressed. When we begin to experience stress or feel overwhelmed, we tax our system which stimulates disease and illnesses. The focus instead should be on our overall wellness from mental and financial to spiritual.

I loved this book. In addition to the anecdotes and words of affirmation and inspiration from Deepak Chopra, Mother Teresa and Eckhart Tolle amongst others, there were beautiful colorful pictures to help in creating the elements of balance, peace, and happiness. Heather indicates that the things we take for granted - like hugs, the sun, making new friends, laughing and aromatherapy - can become extremely rewarding for our well-being. Additionally, you will discover the essential elements of many ways to improve your life from the habits of happy couples, habits of friendships that last and water therapy to eating well during your workday. Heather helps to educate on how to dig deep within yourself to gain a better understanding of how what you do, see, hear and say impacts your being. If you're seeking solace, a different outcome and ways to make a paradigm shift in your life, get your copy of this book today - you will be glad that you did.

Ignite Wellness, Open to Joy is a work of non-fiction guidance penned by author Heather Nadine Lenz, which is subtitled as “A guide to integrate more health & happiness into your daily lifestyle”. Focused on the health and fitness subgenre of the self-help world, this guidebook begins with the concept of ritual, and how small everyday changes that are well maintained can result in a better overall lifestyle over time. The book focuses on specific areas of life that occur every day, for example, morning routines, sleep, mealtimes, housework, and downtime. In each of these areas, advice is given on how to implement and maintain positive strategies for future growth, with a particular focus on yoga as a physical aid.

Those who find yoga physically difficult will probably not get as much out of this book as those who are able to fully follow author Heather Nadine Lenz’s advice. The contents of the volume flow from mental stresses and letting go of negative emotions into some implementations for homemaking and eating and drinking, but the second half is largely the most informative about yoga and its many benefits. This area is very well described and full of useful tips for those who are keen to implement it as a daily practice, and it comes with well-grounded and well-researched arguments towards the many benefits of daily exercise. For me, the contents as a wellness book could be expanded upon to make it even better in all areas, but overall, Ignite Wellness, Open to Joy is a great start in daily routine maintenance and fitness for its readership.

Ignite Wellness, Open to Joy: A Guide to Integrate More Health & Happiness into Your Daily Lifestyle by Heather Nadine Lenz is a self-help book that focuses on your health (mental and physical). The book advises making small changes, one at a time, to your daily routine and life. Any drastic change can be demotivating and that is not the point of making a positive change in your life. In this way, you can keep yourself healthy and happy. Believing in what you have right now and staying on track with your progress is the best way to go. What you eat and how you spend your day has a huge impact on your physical and mental health. This book will help you create a new routine, small changes that have a bigger and much more positive impact on you than anything else.

The author keeps everything simple and easy to understand for readers to digest and adapt to their daily routine. For example, adding something healthier and much more convenient to your meals to make them appetizing is not only doable but much appreciated as well. This book is filled with little gems that may be small and inconsequential at a glance, but once incorporated in a routine can work wonders. The emphasis is on a healthier lifestyle where your wellness comes first and everything that comes after is pure gold. The author advises routines that start from your morning and end with you going to sleep. The advice given is more than just ideas; these are little tips and tricks that will actually work in a real-life setting. Brilliant advice that is actually practical.
