To fulfill their curiosity about the world, Molly and Michael take a trip in their Magic Suitcase to find out how the people in faraway places live. This time, they find themselves on a trip to visit Barcelona. As Michael was telling Molly that he liked the ball team Barcelona, the two of them decided to take a trip to Spain to learn about the culture of this interesting place. In Barcelona, they meet Francesca who shows them the beautiful sights of the city, lets them sample some of the foods, and and takes them to see amazing and beautiful landmarks. What did they see and learn about Barcelona? You can find out when you read Molly and the Magic Suitcase: Molly Goes to Barcelona by Chris Oler.

This is the second book I have read in this series, and I love them both. The story is fun and interesting as well as being very educational because it teaches children about the culture in other countries. The vivid illustrations are colorful and beautiful and a child can easily tell the story just by looking at the pictures. This is a very well written book, with a valuable teaching lesson for children K through third grade. I encourage you to pick up a copy for you and your child to enjoy. And I would also encourage you to make sure your school library has copies of this book as well.
