Her work has also appeared in the anthologies Sensuality: Caramel Flava II and Bold Strokes Books’ In Our Words. Control Alt Delete (scifi-horror) appeared in Allegory Ezine and MetaStellar and is Gracie’s first short story published outside of the erotic, romance or paranormal romance genres. On the Edge by Gracie C McKeever is as educational as it is entertaining. While mainstream depictions of BDSM scenes have focused largely on salacious propositions and shock value, the author has gone to great lengths to make sure that her readers understand how Dom/sub and Domme/sub relationships represent a unique and profound trust bond between two consenting individuals who work diligently to discover, communicate, and act upon their deepest sexual desires and fantasies in ways that edify rather than degrade their humanity and self-image. On the Edge’s leading man and leading lady, Edge Ryan and Melania Noble, are both enormously attractive, successful, and independent. Each of them, however, has failed to find fulfillment in matters of love. A chance meeting, immediate animal magnetism, fiery sexual chemistry, and a resulting shared journey of self-discovery propel them into a life-changing relationship that will challenge them both to the limits of their endurance and self-control even as it offers them a first-ever chance to experience true love.

On the Edge: Play on 1 by Gracie C McKeever is a sizzling BDSM romance that offers something for everyone. Curious readers will have the opportunity to learn, beginners will find a chance to explore Dom/sub and Domme/sub relationships and fantasies privately and in greater depth, and those experienced in the lifestyle will be delighted to read a masterfully written, deliciously detailed, and breathlessly authentic tale penned by someone who has done her homework and who knows and understands the delicate true nature of a properly structured BDSM relationship. In many ways, On the Edge is an important and groundbreaking work. In choosing to eschew the sensationalism that has dominated mainstream portrayals of the BDSM lifestyle, embedding a glossary of BDSM terms in the text, presenting successful, attractive, brilliant characters who are searching for more out of life rather than tumbling into an abyss of perceived depravity and shame, and tracking the development of a healthy and positive Dom/sub relationship from the initial meeting to full flowering, McKeever has done a tremendous service to both the BDSM community and to her readers, who will come away excited and enlightened. Whether you are curious, voyeuristic, newly involved, or a full-fledged BDSM practitioner, On the Edge is a titillating menu of delights.
