If you’re interested in starting and maintaining a business, you need to be willing and able to put in the hard work it’s going to take to get from point A to point Z - that’s exactly what Playing Big by Kim Flynn is all about. Flynn is a businessperson herself, a businesswoman to be precise, and she’s determined to help other women succeed in business without falling for the motivational myths that most aspiring business owners do. She does this through a series of real-life stories of women she’s known succeeded and failed. She also does it with brutal honesty and plenty of opportunities to be 100% honest with yourself in order to bring about your success.

I have to say I’ve seen a lot of motivational presentations and I’ve read even more. I know all about those people who say you can ‘get rich quick’ and this definitely isn’t one of those. This is about putting in the time and effort to make yourself successful. It’s definitely an inspiring book and one that gives you the tools and ideas you need to get off the ground. Getting your business from point A to point B takes a lot of work, but this book actually walks you through the steps you need to get to the right place. It won’t take you from A to Z but it will definitely give you the information you need to figure out how to get there. This is the plan for success for any woman and it’s definitely not a 'get rich quick' scheme, Playing Big is a ‘work your butt off’ plan that leads to real success.
