Lucy Donovan is a CIA agent working undercover with Navy Seal Gus Atwater. She almost didn’t survive her last assignment and is suffering Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. She and Gus are posing as a married couple. Their mission: locate two American hostages held captive by FARC so that Gus’ Navy SEAL team will come in and extract them.

Lucy is one of the CIA’s best. Gus is a team player currently working part time for the CIA. Together they have a past. They loved each other in college. She ended their relationship to concentrate on her career. To survive this mission they have to work together and trust each other. There is a secret in Lucy’s past, one she doesn’t want anyone to discover. She has finally come to terms with her past. Gus is loving and supportive. He’s a man with great depth.

This is the 7th book in the Navy Seal series. Marliss Melton never disappoints. Show No Fear is filled with nonstop action. The romance is exquisite. I would have enjoyed a bit more past but I still enjoyed the story. One of the things I appreciate about this series is the respect Melton offers the Navy SEALS.
