Singing All the Way Up is a science fiction novel by Stephanie Sanders-Jacob. Laura, a young woman, was allegedly abducted by aliens when she was a child, but she has no recollection of the incident. Laura was told by her parents that she was singing instead of screaming. This incident completely changed Laura's life, and she became famous in the UFO and alien abduction communities. Laura’s father made her perform the song she sang when she was abducted for financial gain, and she became a child star. Laura's mother sold her to a freak show when Laura's father passed away. Laura is looking for the truth with the help of her new friends. Was she abducted, or were her parents just pulling a publicity stunt?

Singing All the Way Up is exciting and intriguing. Stephanie Sanders-Jacob weaved trauma, family, and betrayal into the storyline. I was hooked from the start until the end. It was a page-turner, and I was guessing until the very end. Each chapter ended with a story of UFO encounters that Laura had read and rewritten. It was interesting, and I could not wait to read the following story. The characters were authentic and relatable. My favorite character was Laura. I had compassion for her for because of everything she had to endure as a child. I also wanted to know the truth about the abduction and had to wait until the very end. The story is excellently written and held my attention throughout. This story will stay with me for quite a while.
