It's an informative initiation into their plan, which provides scientific, medically backed evidence on the benefits of a protein-rich lifestyle. Covering a bounty of topics and debunking myths and outdated mindsets enforced only by tradition and a political agenda, Imad and Flatt cover everything from the basics of their system, to the workings of our bodies, and onto getting started. It's all wrapped up in the manageable psychology of a four-week trial, allowing prospective followers a feasible window of opportunity to change short-term dieting into a long-term lifestyle.

The Launch Handbook of The 4 Week Diet by Bendjeddou Imad and Brian Flatt may be compact, but it's loaded with useful information to help those who wish to help themselves...but seem to have a difficult time doing it. I found the presentation of material to be simple and straightforward. The line that grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go was the bold declaration: There is not a single carbohydrate that is essential to human life. At this point, I leapt from being merely interested to engrossed. The plan feels not just accessible, but realistic. Most importantly, though, is that it makes sense...and in a world where there's thousands of fad diets, this plan appears to stand out true among them.
