Somewhere in the multiverse of possibilities, a woman who has given up on people and life ventures into the desert. She plans to control the fate of her death because she has had no control over the suffering she has faced. Deep in the middle of nowhere, she finds a child who speaks to her in riddles and insists on journeying with her. The guilt of abandoning a child in the desert does not sit well with her. The child reminds her of her own childhood, and she takes the girl along. The two go on a life-changing journey that teaches them vital lessons.
