The Dreamlighters Go to Space is a children's adventure picture book by Mike Gammage. The story follows two siblings, Kaleb and Maya, who dream of going to space. One night, as they discuss their plans, they see a bright light in their room and a cloud that transforms into a human form. The cloud being introduces himself as Jazz, the Dreamlight Genie, assuring them that he is a friend and wants to join them on their space adventure. However, the siblings do not have a plan to reach space, so they ask for Jazz's help. Jazz explains that he came to make their dreams come true and will help them reach space. Join Kaleb, Maya, and Jazz as they learn what it takes to fly to space.

The Dreamlighters Go to Space exceeded my expectations. Initially, I anticipated a simple adventure story about space travel, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it also imparts knowledge of space stations and offers career lessons. The book takes children on a journey to launch sites and the cockpit and lets them meet engineers, meteorologists, pilots, and astronauts. It teaches children about teamwork, the power of their imaginations, and determination. Mike Gammage is an excellent storyteller who uses intrigue and suspense, gradually unfolding the plot until Kaleb and Maya find themselves in space and appreciate the effort required to send someone into space. The book is enjoyable and entertaining, with colorful illustrations that perfectly complement the story and depict Kaleb and Maya's excited expressions. I highly recommend reading this book with your children to inspire them to never give up on their dreams.

The book "The Dreamlighters Go to Space" is “out of this world,” with an imaginative storyline that provides an interactive and engaging experience for young readers. Not only is it fun, but it also serves as an educational STEM book for children. The author's inclusion of a glossary in the back of the book is a thoughtful addition that allows for further discussion and learning opportunities for both parents and teachers alike. The diverse range of characters, specifically African-American, combined with the beautiful illustrations, adds a unique touch to the book. Overall, it's a must-read for all, and I can't wait to see what other amazing books the author creates in the future.

We wanted to take a moment to personally express our heartfelt gratitude for writing this incredible children's book. It has brought immense joy and enlightenment to our young readers, and we couldn't wait to share our wonderful experience with you.

From the moment we tore into the package and took out the book, our children were instantly captivated by the cover and began turning the pages of the book to look at the enchanting journey of the Dreamlighters. Once our kids started reading the book, they loved seeing characters who resembled them and enjoyed space exploration too! As parents, we always strive to provide our children with diverse and inclusive literature, and your book has certainly achieved that.

We are truly grateful for your creativity and dedication in crafting this beautiful story. Our family eagerly looks forward to future adventures with the Dreamlighters and any new books you may grace us with.

My 2nd grader loves this book! It was such a magical book that taught children about different career paths than the usual teacher, doctor, policeman. The use of sight words throughout the book was noticed by my child as she read the book pointing out each sight word each time she read them. Excellent message from this author! Can’t wait to see some more books in this series!!

This book is so well written to capture the imagination of kids! The story line lends itself very well, to the potential of a whole story exploring many other occupations, places, cultures and more. I hope there are more books and hopefully even a cartoon series!

As a child, we get to entertain one of the most critical questions of our lifetime: “What do I want to be when I grow up?” We get the opportunity to give an answer without hearing every difficulty to achieving our dreams.

The Dreamlighters Go To Space begins to map out the path to career opportunities in a fun, informative, and exploratory adventure.

I love how this book walks the reader through a dream becoming a goal to actions becoming a plan and the plan ultimately becoming a reality Kaleb and Maya.

I highly recommend this book. Experience the magic of dreaming big and the youthful enthusiasm of a child as you immerse yourself into a story that’s out of this world.
