Storytelling comes in various forms from poetry to short stories, each possessing a beautiful display of expression and building connections. The Inspiring World of Ella Rose La Fleur by Lori Schneider MD with beautiful colorful illustrations by Owen Moloney is a collection of over thirty wonderful poems centered around the life of Ella Rose La Fleur. As children read each poem, they will be able to relate to the emotions, life, and experiences of Ella. Each child is unique and it is important to show them how special they are and to celebrate their differences, to give their perspective on how they view the world. Children will have fun with Ella as she takes them on a journey into her environment. As they learn about her, they may see themselves in some of the many scenes throughout the book. In reading this book children will see that Ella shares some of the same challenges as they do and can discover ways to not only deal with them but also build their confidence and self-esteem.

I enjoyed how Lori Schneider took so many parts of Ella’s life to create each poem. With the various parts of Ella’s life being displayed in The Inspiring World of Ella Rose La Fleur, children will learn that getting back to basics is essential for their cognitive abilities and development. The Arts and Science section of the book demonstrates that art, reciting words in a play, moving their bodies for dancing, or seeking to understand what the sky holds, stimulates a child’s brain by building their creativity and strengthening their imagination. Children can use this book in several ways, whether they are new at reading, sharing it with a friend, or at bedtime. Make sure that you add this book to your library. Highly recommended.

Oh this is such a cute book. This is absolutely the kind of kid that I’d want my godson to be friends with. I love the way Schneider has Ella look at and interact with the world at large. Furthermore, the way Schneider has written the book makes it very easy for children to read and get involved with, which is always good with children’s literature.
This is absolutely going to be my gift for some of my friends and their baby showers.

I want to be friends with Ella Rose La Fleur, along with my nieces, whom have been devouring this collection of adventures since I read it to them. Ella is a precocious little six-year-old with a big imagination!!! With a wide variety of themes and original artwork, there's literally something for every kid and kid at heart.

The poem "Always Remember You Are Enough" is one of my favorites. And, "Ella Rose and Chestnut" because horses are such majestic animals and so many kids have a special connection to them. I feel that poem a lot. Being that I am from a state where it snows, I also appreciated the warmth and joy of "Ella Goes to the Beach." It was so reminiscent of my days vacationing down in Florida with my family.

Stellar use of language and just crafty and awesome, this book is a perfect blend of play, lessons, and good old-fashioned fun, fun, fun. Loved it. I also love the videos on YouTube. The opening song gets stuck in my head in the best possible way. I highly recommend Ella's adventures to anyone who has a kiddo in their lives. So. Much. Adventure.And.Fun.

The Inspiring World of Ella Rose La Fleur is a children's book written by Lori Schneider, MD, and illustrated by Owen Moloney. This is the first book in the Adventures of Ella Rose La Fleur series.

Ella had some stubborn strands of hair that would always pop out after being packed, and there was nothing she could do about it. She felt that losing a tooth would bring scary events, but the tooth fairy left her a note, making her realize all her fears were unfounded. She sang a song with her mom, and this activity left her amused. She had a pet horse named Chestnut, and she liked riding on him. She found a kitten and named her Jessie. Soon, she had another pet, a dog she named Molly. After playing with her pets, Ella realized the time to return home had reached only to look around to discover Jessie had gone missing. She and her parents went in search of her; luckily, they found her. Ella had two friends, Mike and Kate, and they brought joy to her. Ella went on to embark on several exciting adventures. To find out, pick up a copy of this wonderful book!

After Ella got some new clothes from the boutique, she made a stop with her mom at a homeless shelter drop-off. The purpose of the visit was to drop off her used clothes and some other items to help the children in need. After Ella gave, she was full of happiness. This sends a subtle lesson on the necessity of giving to others in need because doing so will give you a feeling of satisfaction. The book also encouraged the readers to keep in mind that, no matter what they might be going through, they should always remember they are enough. This part of the book was soothing and uplifting, and I relished it.

The diagrams incorporated into the book were all on point and fit perfectly into the context. It helped drive home the point Lori wanted to make. An instance is the first diagram after the description of Ella's hair that was curled. The image excellently showed the hair the author had earlier discussed, and with that, the readers wouldn't be stressed with painting up a visual illustration as it had already been shown. Not forgetting, the pictures were all beautiful and retained the attention of the readers, as they'd love to see more of them.

The book was written as a poem, and this made it a unique and pleasurable read. The storyline was perfectly organized and flowed freely without any ambiguity. I wasn't bored at any point, and I was excited to discover more of Ella's adventures. I noted not even a single error, and this shows the author went over and beyond to ensure impeccable editing of the book. I have no reason to deduct a mark, and as such, I'll rate it five out of five stars.

I recommend The Inspiring World of Ella Rose La Fleur to children between the ages of six and twelve. This book is an easy read, so they wouldn't be confused with any part of it. They can read it with their parents or teachers at school.

[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "The Inspiring World of Ella Rose La Fleur" by Lori Schneider, MD.]

5 out of 5 stars

Meet Ella Rose La Fleur, an amazing six-year-old girl surrounded by wonderful family members, friends, and pets! The tale of this exceptional personality is narrated in the following sections: Ella Rose, Mom, Pets, Friends, Arts and Sciences, School, Travel, and Family, and enunciates such crucial themes as self-awareness, family bonding, friendship, and great exploits, among others.

The Inspiring World of Ella Rose La Fleur is a children's story written by Lori Schneider, MD. The story is presented in poetic form and reads like a narrative poem. Owen Moloney garnishes the story with matching, beautiful illustrations. It was such a great rendition that reflected significant events in the story, making them more lively and relatable. I was impressed by that.

In addition, the word choices made in this story were gripping and sustained my interest as I read about Ella Rose's curled hair, the wonderful moments with her mother, her adventures with Kate and Mike, and her encounter with the pets, Jessie, Chestnut, and Molly.

Lori did a great job working out the musical quality of this story. Most of the stories were presented in couplets, as seen on page 52: "Ella and Kate/Love to ice-skate./They quickly glide/And gently collide." Some, however, were in alternating rhymes. I could feel the rhythm, and I was engrossed in the story.

Moreover, I was impressed with the characterization; it was quite realistic, and in this aspect, the major character Ella was my favourite. Her dispositions towards her friend Mike and her pet Jessie during critical moments in their lives were phenomenal. She showed in practical terms what true friendship is. I enjoyed reading about the lovely moments she shared with her friend Kate, especially the ice-skating game. Lori described Ella Rose and Kate as "two peas in a pod" (page 48).

I rate The Inspiring World of Ella Rose La Fleur five out of five stars because of the positive aspects I found while reading it. This story is a timely, gripping, and inspirational piece packaged to meet most of the needs of the twenty-first-century child. I recommend it to readers between three and twelve years old. There is no reason to rate this book lower; I didn't dislike anything in it. Also, I didn't find any grammatical errors in this book. It was thoroughly edited.
