The Perfect Gift is the perfect Christmas story. A popular dollhouse that is on the list of all little girls is the answer to love and happiness in this feel good, happy ending story by Dani-Lyn Alexander. It is the last day of Christmas shopping and Jason has only one thing on his mind - find the dollhouse for his daughter Emily. Leah is also out shopping for the coveted dollhouse for daughter Allison. Jason is a single dad and Leah is a single mom and the two just happen to be in the same toy store, at the same time. They find themselves with both of their hands on the very same special dollhouse, the last one on the shelf. Leah and Jason stubbornly refuse to give up the dollhouse and strike an agreement that they hope will work. Each will pay half of the cost and together they will search other toy stores until they find another one. The search of many shops turns up nothing. Leah and Jason both feel a strong attachment to the other and find themselves wanting to make this right for both little girls. Jason comes through in the end with a plan that he hopes will make it a very special Christmas Eve for all of them.
I absolutely loved The Perfect Gift. It is a feel good, 'wish this would happen to me' kind of story. Dani-Lyn Alexander has taken Christmas and romance to an all time high. The Perfect Gift is a short book that only took one night to read but I hated to see it end. If you like Christmas and you like sweet, innocent romance, then you must start the season with this book. I believe The Perfect Gift would be a “perfect” gift under every tree. The Perfect Gift and Dani-Lyn Alexander deserve a ten plus rating and a number one spot on the bestseller list. Do not pass this one up, it is a Christmas winner.
