With a clear, easy to follow, format - including the author’s personal stories, simple step by step advice on improving all areas of your life (and how these improvements will also help your child), bullet point reviews for each chapter, and worksheets to fill in - this book is a treasure trove of information!

Aimed at Mums who want to achieve their own goals in order to make their lives happier, while also improving the lives of their children, the author has distilled down a whole load of useful life tips into bite size chunks that are really just as useful for any human beings at any stage in their lives. I can see this will be a book I will be returning to often for tips, with the idea of tackling a chapter a week seeming a realistic possibility for even the busiest of people.

The first chapter, about “Boosting Your Positivity” is the sort of thing you read, while thinking “this will improve my life... this can improve everyone’s lives, it can even make the world a better place”. A profound statement, maybe, but if we can all take simple steps to feel more positive and grateful then the fallout of that shift around the world would be enormous!

Amazing book! Very powerful guidance for Moms and parents in general. My wife and I loved it! Bought it for my wife, and found many tips and advice that can be very useful for both Parents and even for the kids. Very easy to read and follow with a simple but powerful approach to address many of the questions and concerns that Moms (and Dads) can find while trying to meet their goals as individuals and as a family.

A positive and encouraging read. Dar Batrowny is a successful entrepreneur, nursing and business graduate and expert in child development and in helping families. The Power of Moms with Dreams is a clearly written, inspiring and positive book that is aimed at mums who want to change their life or achieve a dream. I felt it was far more than the usual type of inspirational guide on achieving as it recognises and takes the complicated and demanding role of parenthood into account. It's sometimes said that parents "grow" with their children and as a parent I've found that to be true. From the start this book shows busy and often exhausted mums how to take steps to change not only their only outlook and self-belief but that of their children too. The author takes the reader through courses of actions that involve making small, at first, changes to how we see ourselves, abilities, opportunities and fears. Techniques and strategies for overcoming what holds us back are outlined. These are all thoroughly practical and doable and worksheets are included at the end of each chapter to help with this personal development. The reader is then shown how to help their children develop the same skills. I especially liked the chapter on facing your fears - fear so often being the main obstacle to personal growth or taking a first step. An encouraging book for all mums with a new ambition to reach or a creative dream to realise - especially when that goal or dream feels too much of a struggle.
