"Tyran's Thirst" starts when Kathryn Meloncamp got fired and went home. She thought this was as bad as her day would get until a strong earthquake happened and the sky turned a different shade. Suddenly, from her window, she witnessed bizarre people taking chunks of flesh out of other people. She immediately went out on the streets to escape all that was happening. She eventually found out that these people were zombies. What's more, vampires had invaded the place, too. Two years later, Kat was still on the run but she fought when she had to. One day when she was out to get food from an abandoned grocery store, she chanced upon zombies and she would have been eaten had it not for a guy named Tyran. She was almost thankful until she realized he too was a vampire. Kat tried to escape from Tyran but it was futile. He forced his company on her. Soon she realized this was far more dangerous than having to deal with all the evil unleashed in the world.

The moment I began to read "Tyran's Thirst", I couldn't let go of the book. I got hooked with it immediately because Erika Lindsen has written it magnificently. It is kick-ass and action-packed. She wrote it in a way wherein you wouldn't be to giddy to reach the end because you are content with just reading it page by page. I was at the edge of my seat as I went along Kat's ride on this new horrible world she is living in. There are a lot of things going on in the story but it is never messy or crowded. Lindsen knows how to put the scenes together and take up another issue at hand. The characters are also formed well. They really fit the story. Everything in this book works well together. This is a must read for every rocking chick and the romantics as well. They will find both genres in "Tyran's Thirst" and when they take interest, they will pretty soon find out it is going to be hard to let go. This is a book where when you sit and read, you'd stay like that until you finish everything.
