Until We Meet Again is a touching children's picture book written by Ryndi R. Lanier and illustrated by Mary Jo Snyder-McPhail. It tells the story of a young opossum who is curious about his brother's whereabouts. Although his family always talked about his brother and told him they were born together, they never met. One day, his mother explains to him calmly that his brother is now an angel in heaven. This saddens the little opossum, but his mother assures him that his brother is always with them and that they will be reunited one day. That night, the little opossum has a beautiful dream that reminds him how his brother will always be in his heart.
Until We Meet Again is a beautiful story with a profound message for anyone who has lost a loved one. It can be used by parents who are struggling to explain painful issues, such as death, to their little ones. Ryndi R Lanier uses characters that children can relate to and a story that they can easily understand, helping them comprehend the concept of death and heaven.
