A Farm Animals' Christmas! No Ordinary Farm by Deborah Bailey and Stephanie Matolyak is an interesting book about rescue farm animals and their life on the farm. All the farm animals come to life at the big Thanksgiving feast. Now more fun time begins as they await the big holiday the animals are looking forward to. They spend their time decorating and talking about what they want for Christmas. Then the day finally comes, but they have no sleigh to carry presents around to everyone. Oh, what will they do?

I adored this book. A Farm Animals' Christmas! No Ordinary Farm is inspired by the animals on Stephanie Matolyak's own rescue farm. You can read her story at the back of this book. What a sweet story this is about rescue animals of all kinds. Each page is filled with thoughts of every animal as they eagerly anticipate the Christmas season. The story itself is upbeat and will have children laughing and thinking along with the animals, and you will have no trouble keeping their attention.

I think children will love each page of this beautiful book. Deborah Bailey does an outstanding job of creating just the right pictures to fit each page of the story. I love all the animals and their adorable faces. The colors are a mixture of vivid and soft to fit the story. A Farm Animals' Christmas! is one you don't want to miss this year. Elementary teachers, librarians, and daycare workers, I hope you will check out this wonderful book.

A Farm Animals' Christmas! by Deborah Bailey and Stephanie Matolyak tells the story of rescued farm animals who celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas together on Stephanie’s farm with a delicious feast including a variety of food suitable for all the animals. The animals enjoy a magical Christmas party and the barn is beautifully decorated for the festive season, including a Christmas tree and colorful lights. As soon as the animals are ready to go to sleep, the magic begins. Santa will be shocked and surprised to discover it’s not only reindeers that can pull a sleigh or light the way!

A Farm Animals' Christmas! is a magical, educational story, beautifully illustrated with photos and drawings of the farm and all the animals. I love the way the animals talk to each other, showing their personalities, characteristics, and sense of humor. There is list of characters at the end of the book for children to go back and find all 30 animals in the story, an excellent game for memory exercises and learning about new animals. Stephanie Matolyak also tells her story of fulfilling her dream of owning a farm and rescuing animals, encouraging the reader to never give up on their own dreams. The illustrations by Deborah Bailey are truly phenomenal and make the reading experience even more fun. An absolute delight to read, thoroughly enjoyable, and highly recommended for all children and their parents. A Farm Animals' Christmas! would make a perfect Christmas gift for children to keep them entertained during the holidays.

A Farm Animal’s Christmas!, written by Stephanie Matolyak and artistically designed by Deborah Bailey, is a delightful story of life on the farm. However, this is not your normal farm; all the animals have been rescued. The fun-loving animals enjoy life on the farm and celebrate with a feast on Thanksgiving. They are full of excitement knowing that soon Christmas will be here! The animals dress up in festive hats, sing and play in the snow, and even find a Christmas tree. The question is, do we decorate it? Or eat it? On the eve of Christmas, the animals snuggle in their warm and comfy barn, wondering what gifts await you and them on Christmas morning.

Deborah Bailey and Stephanie Matolyak’s A Farm Animal’s Christmas! is a Christmas tale like no other. The story is full of Christmas magic - “to live on the farm is kind of lay back.” The illustrations are bright and vibrant photos graphically designed by Deborah Bailey enhance the story. Similar to a comic strip, Stephanie Matolyak humorously captions the animals’ conversations, revealing the uniqueness and character of each of the animals. The narrative is interactive, asking questions of the young reader, inviting them to take part in the story. This writing method keeps the child engaged and aids in reading comprehension. At the conclusion of the story, the author shares the real story of Stephanie’s Farm, her life, and her work with rescued animals. A Farm Animals' Christmas! reminds us that dreams really can come true. Merry Christmas!
