Art Museum Spider by Kim Hintze is a kids' adventure story. Art is a spider. When he gets caught up in a storm, he gets blown out of his bed. He scurries to the art museum to take shelter and falls in love with the place. It’s warm and safe, and it’s full of beautiful artwork. But the security guard doesn’t want Art in his museum because he doesn’t want spider webs all over the paintings. So begins a game of hide and seek as Art tries to hide. Will the guard win and kick Art back out into the cold, or will he be allowed to stay in his lovely new home forever?

Art Museum Spider by Kim Hintze is a wonderfully illustrated children’s story full of adventure and fun. It’s a cute story about a spider trying to find a new home and it shows children some of the world’s greatest works of art and all the ways a spider could possibly hide on them. This is a story about perseverance, about working hard to achieve good things, and about having the tenacity to stay the distance against all odds. This is perfectly written for its audience, and I guarantee kids everywhere will enjoy it. It is a fun story, engagingly written in simple language that any young reader can understand and follow. At the end of the book is a short primer on the elements of art and all the different famous works of art the spider made his way around. Very informative and highly enjoyable.
