Janice Baylis, Ph.D. has complied a vast amount of information and exercises pertaining to dreams in her book "Dream Dynamics and Decoding: Personal, Practical, Powerful Messages." Baylis begins with a brief introduction to dreams and dreams analysis and then jumps right into the fascinating world of human minds and dreams. The book is split into well-defined chapters. Each chapter focuses on a specific area pertaining to dreams and also exercises that the reader can utilize to increase their knowledge and awareness of their personal dreams and the meaning behind them. This is not a "textbook" type of book, rather it is more interactive and a personal guide as the exercises and activities are numerous and fun to do. It is also important to remember that one's dream language is not the same as another person's and this book really reinforces that and helps each person to find his or her own.

Dreams have always been fascinating to me and I have often wondered what a particular dream means or wondered why I dreamed what I did dream. This book was an eye-opener for me as to why I have had certain dreams. It has given me a better understanding of myself and my dreams. This book is so much more than I thought it was going to be. The exercises and real examples of dreams throughout the book really kept my attention and kept me wanting to read more. Also, Baylis' style of writing and organization of the information is very easy to read and follow. A must-read for anyone interested in dreams!
