Twenty years ago Grace knew what she wanted, who she wanted, and was certain that only time would tell of the outcome. Twenty years ago, Brooks Hamilton smashed her plans to pieces with a broken promise. She thought she was over the fact that Brooks had stood her up for their high school prom, but when Brooks is called back to town, she realizes nothing has been resolved with her heart. In charge of planning their high school reunion, Grace is on a mission to find the perfect, or the perfect for now, date to escort her when Brooks Hamilton lands on her massage table with no recollection of her identity. Top that off with the fact he’s dating Morgan Bronson, Grace’s arch-nemesis, and suddenly twenty years doesn’t seem that long ago.

Facial Recognition: A Serenity Spa Novel by Jennifer Peel is a fun, fast-paced contemporary romance that will bring sunshine to a gloomy Saturday afternoon of reading. Not necessarily a predictive narrative, but not a disappointment to the happily-ever-after reader, Facial Recognition is a perfectly balanced romance. Author Jennifer Peel constructs realistic dialogue in this Lifetime Network-worthy story of unrequited love. The small-town vibe of Pecan Orchard provides the charm and sincerity of southern fiction. With the main character older than the typical romance heroine, Grace speaks to the over-thirty audience with the hopeful message that it is never too late to find love. Jennifer Peel is also the author of two other Serenity Spa novels: Couples Massage (Colette and Julian’s Story) and Healing Energy (Lorelai and Dane’s Story)
