Ferald is a children's adventure picture book written and illustrated by Keith Williams. The story follows Ferald the Ferret as he embarks on a new adventure through the woods of Woodzley. One sunny morning, Ferald decides to take a different route from the one he usually takes. Birzy the Whippoorwill, his traveling companion, joins him and wonders where he is going. Ferald tells him that he wants to walk along the river. Despite Birzy's protests, Ferald is determined to have fun along the river. Along the way, the two meet other animals, and they experience a few mishaps but also have loads of fun. Join Ferald and Birzy on their adventure by getting a copy of this book.

Ferald is a lovely storybook that encourages children to embrace new experiences and have fun with friends. The characters are relatable because they engage in a debate in which one friend wants to try a different path, while the other is hesitant to embrace the idea. However, by the end of the day, they make new friends and learn new things. I loved the story because it embodies the essence of adventure - facing the unknown with courage and determination. Keith Williams does an outstanding job of teaching children this lesson in a way they will understand and appreciate. Ferald and Birzy have appealing, friendly, and adventurous personalities that make them adorable characters. I fell in love with them. The illustrations perfectly depict each scene and make the book look colorful. I highly recommend this book to anyone afraid to go on an adventure. Take a friend along and experience something new.
