Ignite Your Inner Healer: Transformational Tools to Heal Your Body, Mind and Soul is a nonfiction health/fitness book written by Ana Marinho. Marinho is a physical therapist, health coach and intuitive healer who has over a decade’s worth of experience working with clients to help them address and overcome their health issues. She began her quest for self-healing when she was confronted with her own health issues. Rather than continue relying upon medications which seemed to do more harm than good, Marinho explored alternative resources. She recommends that you read this book completely and then take the time to work through the material, answer the transformational questions she poses, and begin your own healing process. She also includes a link for an In-Depth Workbook to facilitate the interactive aspects of the book, a summary of healing tools and a list of References and Suggested Readings.
Ana Marinho’s Ignite Your Inner Healer is a well-written and thought-provoking introduction to alternative healing and wellness. Her method of reading through and then slowly working with each chapter is a sound one, and I liked having access to a workbook designed for the text. Her ideas for pain management are particularly interesting and have proven to be useful since I’ve begun using them. Anyone who’s wondered why the so-called magic cures promoted by the pharmaceutical industry don’t seem to be working all that well should take a look at this book and discover how they might play a larger role in their personal healing journey. Ignite Your Inner Healer: Transformational Tools to Heal Your Body, Mind and Soul is most highly recommended.
