Did you know that many creatures on this planet are currently at risk of extinction and that we may never see some of them again? Kesem Books presents ten of these critically endangered species in Our Planet's Most Endangered Wildlife with illustrations to inform readers of their plight and the steps we need to take to ensure their survival. These endangered species are susceptible to environmental changes and genetic problems. They have limited geographical range and specialized habitat requirements. Furthermore, human activities such as habitat destruction, pollution, and over-harvesting threaten their existence. Learn about the Amur Leopard, which now lives in a small pocket in Russia with a population of a mere 100, or the Spix Macaw, native to Brazil and a prime target for illegal trade, or the Javan Rhino, threatened by habitat loss, and many more.

To continue our conservation efforts and preserve this planet's diverse wildlife species, it's vitally important we introduce books like Our Planet's Most Endangered Wildlife to children, some of whom may become members of the next generation of wildlife activists or environmentalists. This is a laudable endeavor by Kesem Books and a step forward in the preservation efforts undertaken to protect our wildlife and environment. The information presented in this book provides a good overview of 10 of these endangered species and is accompanied by pictures. The details are bound to draw the curiosity of young readers. As someone who deeply cares about animals and environmental conservation, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and greatly appreciate the efforts of the people behind it. I highly recommend it for children and adults alike.
