Puffel by Sr. Gianna Casino tells the story of Puffel, a fluffy and beautiful puffin who lives in Norway and enjoys finding new friends. Every day, this cute puffin engages in snowball battles and observes the magnificent penguins interacting and playing together, wishing he could be like them. "Oh, I wish I could be a penguin," he exclaims. He also begins to ponder about his life as a penguin: how he would slide on his belly, and swim as quickly as a shark underwater... On the other hand, Mama Puffin notices her son's sadness and teaches him a vital lesson. Will Puffel ultimately recognize his worth and embrace his true nature?

Puffel, the charming puffin who stars in this book, embarks on a journey that practically everyone has been on: loving yourself. Sr. Gianna Casino does an excellent job of showing the significance of variation and uniqueness with this adorable animal. Puffel's parents play an important role during his discovery, representing the support and approbation that everyone requires. I think this book is great for both children and adults because many readers struggle to grasp that what makes people shine is their distinctiveness. The vivid and intricate graphics on each page add to the reading experience; I love how cute they are! The author mentions educational details of where penguins and puffins live; it's always fascinating to discover new facts! Why not give this book a try if you're seeking an interesting method to teach children about being true to themselves?
