I have a sneaking suspicion that if Marvin “Knife” Sotelo places Satanic Combat Sciences on Amazon, it will reach number one just based on the title alone. This isn't necessarily a bad thing because there is a lot of sound combat advice in here that you don’t have to be a Satanist to learn from, appreciate, and use. I am not a Satanist. I was drawn to Satanic Combat Sciences because I have been a soldier, and I have been interested in combat all my life. It’s mostly why I joined the Army, though the education benefits played an equally important role. I wanted to fight. I was more than a little young and foolish. But guess what? There were a lot of young men in the Army just like me.
I have studied martial arts in America, Japan, and Korea. I have also actually used them in real fights in these countries and more. That’s why I was curious about Satanic Combat Sciences. How are they different from what I have learned? Inquiring minds want to know. I can report that they are not radically different, but there is some new stuff. First, if you are like me, you must learn what the words Satanic Combat Sciences really mean. There is a whole culture and attitude that goes along with that and Marvin “Knife” Sotelo explains it in easily understood sentences that will make sense to everyone interested in learning about this unique martial arts approach. Satanic Combat Sciences is well written, well organized, and useful. I liked it.
