The F.L.U.S.H. Files: Pass the Gas! is a children's action-adventure novella by Darryl Kluskowski. Best friends Barry Hiffledorfer and Pete Delgado are no ordinary ten-year-olds. They are also agents of the secret government organization F.L.U.S.H., where they assume the identities of Bladder Lad and Plunger Pete to carry out their missions. When furry, flatulent balloons start stinking Standard City all over, Bladder Lad and Plunger Pete are summoned to the F.L.U.S.H. headquarters by their boss, Agent #2, who asks them to deal with the situation. Soon, the best friends learn that the supervillains, Pressure and Bloating from D.R.A.I.N., are behind this mess, and now they are going to attack the Civil Civic Center where Barry's mom works. Can Bladder Lad and Plunger Pete stop the evil duo from carrying out their nefarious plans?

With lively illustrations and vibrant characters, Darryl Kluskowski offers young readers a captivating and hilarious tale full of action, mystery, and adventure. If you like cool futuristic gadgets, dislike flatulence, and have a keen sense of smell for anything related to gas, The F.L.U.S.H. Files: Pass the Gas! is the book for you. You will join two precocious ten-year-olds on an action-packed adventure to save a city and its people from destructive fumes. Kluskowski's plotting is tight and fast-paced, and as a reader, you will find that there's not a single wasted word or chapter where the action stops. Barry and Pete's friendship is adorable. Their witty back and forth makes you laugh and leaves you with a smile on your face. I also enjoyed the two supervillains, Pressure and Bloating. This book will be a hit among preteen readers.
