The Pivot: Orchestrating Extraordinary Business Momentum by Lori Michele Leavitt is required reading for every businessman and businesswoman and every entrepreneur who wants to keep their momentum and lead their business to extraordinary success. In this book, the author outlines the qualities of leaders who make a huge difference in the business world and those who don’t. The reader will understand that there are two types of leaders in the business world; the successful leader who anticipates problems and takes steps to address them, and the mediocre one who reacts to problems, always barely surviving through them. This book teaches readers how to be the successful entrepreneur who takes control by anticipating solutions to problems before they even happen.

Lori Michele Leavitt identifies six powerful qualities in leaders who bring great success to their business and keep their momentum really high. These qualities include clarity, which is everything about strategizing, creating a clear vision, defining values and purpose; mastery mindset, which is all about the openness to grow; great decision making skills; strategic thinking; talent adaptability; and coaching. This book shows a clear map that any leader should navigate to create success in their business. The book is well-researched and beautifully articulated. Readers will undoubtedly enjoy the popular writing style that is accessible to a wide audience. The Pivot: Orchestrating Extraordinary Business Momentum reflects the confidence and experience of the author, and readers will have no doubt that they are reading work from a master in the subject. I was absorbed and inspired. Here are the tools you need to transform your business as a leader.
