The Silver Sphere: It’s Coming - No Time To Waste by David Gittlin is a science fiction story about saving Earth from a pulsar that will destroy it entirely in 72 hours. A pulsar is a neutron star that forms when a star more massive than the sun runs out of fuel in its core and collapses in on itself. Earth’s saviors are Arcon and Jacob, who discover a silver sphere. Jacob found the sphere on one of his strolls on the beach and learned that everything would come to an end in 72 hours. At first, Jacob was skeptical and believed all he had been told was nothing more than a humorless prank. Thankfully, Arcon convinces him otherwise, sharing his plan to save the planet from impending doom and asking Jacob for his assistance. Will this unusual duo be able to save the earth in 72 hours?

The Silver Sphere: It’s Coming - No Time To Waste is a book that I enjoyed reading from the first page to the last. It’s just so easy to get in the flow when reading this book, and before I knew it, I had finished a fantastic adventure. The plot is unpredictable and author David Gittlin keeps the reader guessing as to how the planet will be saved. He doesn’t share the clever specifics until the very last moment. That’s great because this kept me curious the entire time while reading. Our saviors, Jacob and Arcon, are great characters, both likable and organic. David Gittlin’s descriptive writing style and the fantastic images found in the book are also welcome additions and greatly appreciated. In conclusion, this was an excellent book and one that I’d recommend to readers looking for a short and exciting sci-fi novel.

The Silver Sphere is a short sci-fi novella written by David Gittlin. Jacob Casell is a novelist. Struggling to finish his latest novel, which is long past the due date, Jacob takes a random midnight stroll on Daytona Beach in Florida when he chances upon a mysterious silver sphere. Driven by curiosity, Jacob picks it up but finds himself shocked when the seemingly innocuous object starts conversing with him telepathically, introducing itself as an advanced AI mechanism from outer space out here to save Earth from crashing with an oncoming pulsar. The AI, Arcon, seeks Jacob's help in completing his mission. The duo must now take a trip to New York City to prevent the collapse of human civilization within seventy-two hours. Can Jacob and Arcon save Earth from impending doom?

Fast-paced and filled with humor and wit, The Silver Sphere is a blast to read. It is an entertaining tale about a novelist suffering from writer's block suddenly facing a potential global catastrophe and finding himself embroiled alongside a no-nonsense advanced AI from the other side of the galaxy to help prevent it. The dynamic between Jacob and Arcon formed the core of the narrative. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between the two and found myself chuckling out loud on more than a couple of occasions. The premise feels authentic, and author David Gittlin leaves room for more adventures of Jacob and Arcon in future books. If you're itching for a light-hearted sci-fi adventure novel, I highly recommend The Silver Sphere.

A man and an alien artifact with AI capabilities race to save the world from an Extinction Level Event in the exciting short story, The Silver Sphere: It's Coming - No Time to Waste by David Gittlin. Jacob Casell is an author who is past his deadline with his newest book, and his editor needs his manuscript immediately. To relax so he can think up the ideal ending to his story, Jacob takes a walk along the shores of Daytona Beach. While trudging along the surf, Jacob spies a metallic orb lying nearby in the sand. On closer examination, the sphere shocks his senses by placing thoughts into his mind. At first, Jacob is unsure if he is actually communicating, but it continues to insist he pay heed to its message. Is the stress connected with his overdue book getting to Jacob? Or is the silver sphere a messenger from another place?

Brimming with suspense, The Silver Sphere: It's Coming - No Time to Waste by David Gittlin is an intriguing science-fiction short story. It is an engaging tale that captivates the imagination with incredible settings, magnificent illustrations, and an intense storyline. The pictures are stunning; their inclusion adds to the story by rounding it out and giving it a realistic feel. The story moves at a good pace with a perfect story arc that builds to an astounding conclusion. This enjoyable story will delight everyone who loves science-fiction tales that include a race against the clock and extraterrestrial technology programmed to interfere with humankind's destiny. Because it is so short, it is the perfect way to escape from the world when you don't have a lot of time.
