Everybody wants to make money, which is why so many people (including me) try to start a business at some point in life. Once you make this decision you have a ton of other decisions to make, and of course, a million things to do. You need a plan. You need a road map. If you have no knowledge or training in business, you need to start from the beginning. If this is you, then I have the perfect book for you. The Startup Handbook by Morris Grant is Your Step-By-Step, Straight-Talking Guide To Building A Great Business In Your Life. It says so in the subtitle and it is true. I am not a beginner at starting a business so I know that this plan is factually accurate and very practical. The Startup Handbook can get you going in the right direction and can save you a ton of money and time by steering you clear of costly mistakes.

The Startup Handbook is well written in clear, concise English that everyone can understand. Furthermore, Morris Grant takes a step-by-step approach to the whole concept and I am a big fan of that approach when teaching, learning, or doing anything. That is only one reason I liked this book. The Startup Handbook guides you. Starting a business is a journey and Morris Grant gives you the map. He tells you what you need to know to begin with, then tells you about basic things like a business plan, assembling your team, markets, and so on. This stuff is basic but important and Morris Grant tackles it in a way that reminds me of a well thought out battle plan. I was in the Army. So that’s a good enough approach for me. I know that it works.
