Every year millions of people enter the employment market. Some of them are regulars looking for a change that will favor them financially or otherwise but for the bulk of these employment seekers, this is their first foray into these murky waters. Most of these first-timers have next to no idea what is expected of them during the screening process so they inevitably fail at that stage. Dejected and without any guidance about what they did wrong, they end up repeating the same fatal errors in a frustrating cycle. Having experienced his fair share of this, Tim Luchtefeld compiled instructions capable of leading job seekers to that dream job. Read along and receive enlightenment from The Unwritten Rules of Job Searching: Learn How the Process Really Works, and What You Need to Do.

If I had a dime for every book on the proper approach to job searching I have come across, I would most likely be a millionaire by now. Despite the mountain of information available out there today none of it covers this topic as thoroughly and as impressively as Tim Luchtefeld does. His book is detailed and arranged in perfect order from the initial steps of the process to what to expect at the end of the recruitment ordeal. His templates on the proper responses to give recruiters are a godsend and his view on key aspects of the process such as ATS are an eye-opener to the uninitiated. It is nice to see that, unlike in other books, the possibility of failure at the end of the exercise is discussed in depth as this goes a long way in establishing the authenticity of the information that Luchtefeld disseminates. The Unwritten Rules of Job Searching is a must-have for all job seekers.
