Hop on for a pulsating ride of horror and fright with Too Scary to Read Alone. Written by Wolfgang Parker and featuring illustrations by Vilnius Oorte, the book contains five short stories of supernatural terror you don't want to miss. A young teen finds herself trapped in her house with a cursed book that must be finished at all costs. Forced to babysit his six-year-old brother, Eli finally meets his imaginary friend, who is all too real. On a foggy afternoon, a mother and her son try to escape the clutches of a terrifying entity. A middle schooler's life turns into a nightmare after she starts to see for the first time. The world becomes eternally dark when a cosmic entity envelops the sky, leading a fourteen-year-old to find unexpected acceptance from his bigoted father.

Horror fans are in for a wild rollercoaster of a ride with Too Scary to Read Alone. Suspense, mystery, intrigue, and terror lace the pages of this gripping short story collection that offers plenty of thrills and chills to sate the appetites of horror aficionados. Author Wolfgang Parker has crafted five captivating, dark, and twisted paranormal tales that transport readers into surreal nightmares of dread and horror. You can't take your eyes off the pages. All these stories feature protagonists in their young teens. The illustrations by Vilnius Oorte add to the tension-filled atmosphere of the narrative and make the stories even more immersive. I also immensely enjoyed the epilogue, which ties up the collection with a neat bow. A gem of a collection for supernatural horror lovers.
