Forced to babysit his six-year-old brother, Eli finally meets his imaginary friend, who is all too real. On a foggy afternoon, a mother and her son try to escape the clutches of a terrifying entity. A middle schooler's life turns into a nightmare after she starts to see for the first time. The world becomes eternally dark when a cosmic entity envelops the sky, leading a fourteen-year-old to find unexpected acceptance from his bigoted father.
