Author Biography

Thomas Ashburn Jr. is an award-winning author with a lifelong passion for writing. He has a B.A. in Journalism from Norfolk State University and also authored God's Greater Glory, Why We Experience Hardship. He has written several articles for daily newspapers. Thomas’s purpose for writing is to glorify God and to inspire others to overcome every obstacle. He lives in Virginia with his wife and son.

This step-by-step recovery process in a useful tool for all those who have been cheated, betrayed, or are handling turmoil in life. It also prepares readers to handle any tragedies that might strike them. The book reiterates the power of God and how by having faith and belief in Him one can rebuild, restore, and get their lives back on track. The book urges readers to accept Jesus Christ as their savior and fill the void in their lives with God instead of sex, drugs and alcohol.

The author's experiences in life are relatable and his phase of going through low self esteem will resonate with many readers. The discussion questions in the book related to each topic can be used by readers or a group to look into themselves, how to understand the purpose of a setback, and grow from it. Rebuilding, refocusing and getting back on track are the three things discussed in the book and are helpful to all those trying to get their lives back on track. The quotes from the Psalms make the author's words more effective. It's a simple read and the author's techniques and advice are easy to incorporate into one's daily living.
