Meet Little Miss Grubby Toes. Most times, she is a good little girl. But sometimes, she disobeys her parents, which gets her into big trouble. One morning, Father shares some fascinating news. He will take her to the frontier village to watch a reenactment of how people used to live long ago. He makes her promise she will stay close to him during their time in the village. When they eventually arrive, Little Miss Grubby Toes promises she will not leave the playground area. After she zooms down slides, rides the seesaw, and jumps in potato sacks, she follows the other bigger kids to the petting zoo without telling Father. Here, she holds a cute piglet. But the piglet wriggles out of her arms and runs off. Little Miss Grubby Toes keeps running through the village gate trying to catch it. When she stops to look around, she doesn't recognize where she is. She calls Father, but loud drum noises drown her voice. Suddenly, a big thud erupts behind her! Will Little Miss Grubby Toes find her way back to safety? Read Little Miss Grubby Toes Gets Lost! by Eddie Price to find out.

The best stories immerse us in a new setting and connect us to the characters. Eddie Price surpasses this standard, ensuring we understand the underlying conditions and the characters' motivations. I was impressed by Price's characterization of Father. He is essential to the story's thematic development and plot progression. He is also a good role model for parents regarding the importance of creating time for their children and guiding them when they go astray. The plot is peppered with simple twists, resulting in a suspenseful and satisfying ending. The setting descriptions were excellent and sure to engage both children and adults. The adventure gets more exciting at the frontier village. Here, we meet more wonderful characters. There is even a blacksmith present who uses his hammer to turn hot iron into horseshoes. Young readers aged 3 to 7 will enjoy these special moments of adventure more with the help of an adult. With so much to offer, Little Miss Grubby Toes Gets Lost! by Eddie Price is a must-read for children of all ages. It will also be a favorite for adults who enjoy children's literature. Highly recommended.

The book is a part of the Little Miss Grubby Toes book series, which aims to warn children about the dangers of not following instructions. The series follows a little girl nicknamed Little Miss Grubby Toes, who loves playing barefoot in the mud and getting into trouble. One day, her father tells her they will visit the frontier village to watch people reenacting how they lived a long time ago. They are joined by Tommy, her best friend, and the two kids are told to stay close so that they do not get lost in the crowd. As fate would have it, Little Miss Grubby Toes gets excited and chases a piglet in a throng of people. She gets lost and fears she will never see her father again. Follow Little Miss Grubby Toes as she ventures through the crowds searching for her father.

Little Miss Grubby Toes Gets Lost! was a fun book to read. Not only does it provide an entertaining story, but it also has a valuable lesson for children. We have all done something naughty that got us into big trouble. Facing the consequences of our actions is always embarrassing and painful to experience. Eddie Price aims to educate children, parents, and caregivers on implementing safeguards to protect children. He presents this message to children beautifully. The book also contains comical depictions of the characters, providing entertaining visuals for readers. The author highlights questions that will guide children to understand the lesson. A question-and-answer section at the end recaps the main points. Little Miss Grubby Toes' real name is not mentioned in the book because each book in the series will provide a single clue to this mystery. You will need the entire collection to figure it out. I look forward to reading more from this author to unravel the mystery.

Little Miss Grubby Toes is like any curious little child. She wants to explore and have fun with her friends. Like most children, Little Miss Grubby Toes doesn't always understand the harmful consequences of not listening to your parents. This little girl finds herself going from laughing one minute to being afraid and in tears the next, thinking she'll never see her father again. Although Little Miss Grubby Toes is always lucky enough to find her way out of terrifying situations, the dangers are real, and this incident could easily have turned out badly for her. Little Miss Grubby Toes Gets Lost! by Eddie Price reminds us that life is full of decisions. We all have to make choices, but we have to be careful and choose wisely. We also have to be mindful of the advice of others, especially our elders. Father is taking Little Miss Grubby Toes (not her real name, of course) and her best friend Tommy to a historic frontier village. There is a lot to see and do, but it is crowded and Father tells the children several times to stay close. Initially, they do, but then they get excited about the petting zoo and can’t wait to see all the animals. They head off without telling Father, then the piglet Little Miss Grubby Toes is holding runs off and she chases after it. The result is that Little Miss Grubby Toes is lost and all she can do is cry. Will she be able to find her Father and her friend, Tommy? She’s certainly learning an important lesson about being careful, particularly in crowded places.

Eddie Price’s picture book Little Miss Grubby Toes Gets Lost! is another charming, amusing story in the Little Miss Grubby Toes series. The main character is full of life and adventure and has a distinct penchant for getting into mischief. The plot follows the family visit to the frontier village, coupled with some challenging questions along the way to make young readers think for themselves. The story is told in simple language so young readers can easily follow along and improve their reading skills. The colorful illustrations are bold and exciting and add another dimension to this adventurous and sometimes funny story. There are some interactive activities at the end of the book, including a glossary to help young readers recognize some of the words in the story. Entertaining and educational, readers of all ages will love the series.

Eddie Price’s Little Miss Grubby Toes Gets Lost! depicts the adventures of a young girl who goes by the moniker Little Miss Grubby Toes. This schoolgirl travels to a frontier community with her father and best friend Tommy Sims to learn about how people lived in the past. Everything goes swimmingly at first, they learn a lot about another culture, dance and sing to their music, watch a puppet performance, and even eat a delicious lunch. Unfortunately, after their meal, Little Miss Grubby Toes and Tommy decide to go to the petting zoo without first alerting her father, which complicates matters. After chasing an adorable piglet through the crowd, Little Miss Grubby Toes gets lost and begins to worry that she may never see her father again. In this beautifully drawn picture book, children learn the importance of staying near to their parents in large crowds.

Little Miss Grubby Toes Gets Lost! is an entertaining and instructive picture book that confronts us with a dilemma that all children face. Its importance is complemented by vivid, rich images that round it out. I adored each character's vivid expressions and surrounding details. Furthermore, I liked that Little Miss Grubby Toes is a good kid who, like most children, is curious and willing to learn new things. Eddie Price exemplifies the importance of children listening to their parents by displaying this attitude. I believe Price does an excellent job of reaching both parents and children, owing to the activities and small games at the end of the book, which I found interesting and interactive.
