Tales From the P.I.T. Crew: Case of the Wayward Son is a paranormal murder mystery thriller by J.M. Tilbury. Forensic psychologist Dr. Darrell Diamondback has a penchant for solving cases involving paranormal entities. Working on his own for a secret government agency called Paranormal Investigation and Education Department, Darrell gets a rude awakening when his handler, Stravinsky, forces him to hire three other members for his crew. Soon, Darrell finds himself working on a case involving missing children in San Francisco with his new hires, Charles Mopps (Charlie), a computer specialist, news reporter Jaiden Fox, and former military veteran Edward Anderson (Ed). After discovering that the prime suspect is the same bogeyman who murdered his little sister thirty years ago, Darrell struggles to overcome the nightmares of his past. Can he stop the bogeyman once and for all?

If you love to read sleuth stories with a touch of the paranormal, reward yourself with Tales From the P.I.T. Crew: Case of the Wayward Son. J.M. Tilbury weaves a gripping yarn full of mystery, intrigue, and thrilling action that will keep you glued to the pages from start to finish. The plot has its share of unexpected twists and turns that always make you wonder what's happening next. The characters have well-developed personalities, and their distinct traits pop out of the pages to make a mark on the reader. I particularly enjoyed the dynamic between Dr. Diamondback and his crew. I had a wonderful time reading the book and highly recommend it.
